LC Ranch Katahdin Ewes

Our ewes are pastured from April to December weather and grass permitting. We like a medium framed ewe that is built stout enough to carry twins and triplets easily. Early maturing and the ability to lamb as a yearling is also a must. Parasite resistance is important to us. Pasture rotation and selecting and using rams with low FEC (fecal egg count) is part of our strategy to eliminate parasite issues.
